The Redmi 1S (codename: armani) comes with two main firmware versions:

China ROM: Designed for the Chinese market, it supports only English and Chinese and does not include Google Services.
Global / EEA / India ROM: Made for international users, it supports multiple languages, includes Google Services, and removes Chinese apps. It can also be installed on the China version if the bootloader is unlocked.

Additionally, the device has Stable MIUI (for a stable experience) and Developer MIUI (for early access to new features).
